About the Speakers:
Tan Kin Lian – Renowned Singaporean entrepreneur and dedicated social advocate, Tan Kin Lian served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NTUC Income. During his tenure, he also held significant directorships and corporate roles, including the chairmanship of the International Co-operative & Mutual Insurance Federation from 1992 to 1997. This federation represented 123 insurance groups across 65 countries.
Prof Paul Tambyah – A respected figure in the medical field, Professor Paul Tambyah is a Consultant Physician and Professor of Medicine. He holds the position of Secretary General at the Asia-Pacific Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infection and also serves as the Chairman of the Singapore Democratic Party. With his expertise, Prof Tambyah contributes significantly to both medical research and political engagement.
